Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at New Communities Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our seniors to live life fully by preparing healthy, delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling and meeting the therapeutic needs of our residents.
  • Interact with seniors in a caring and inclusive environment, building strong relationships with residents and staff.
  • Support a dynamic and professional senior living home environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or breakfast cook in a food service setting, with a preference for experience working with seniors.
  • 18 years of age or over.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English.
