Role Summary:
The Medical Office Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing practice efficiency and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and providers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-driven, and focused on the collective success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and onboard administrative and clinical personnel.
- Mentor and develop team members while promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
- Inspire and motivate staff to reach individual and organizational targets.
- Evaluate operational workflows across departments to optimize efficiency and implement best practices.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Supervise the accuracy of coding, charge capture, and billing processes.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of daily front and back office operations.
- Guarantee compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and relevant state regulations.
- Ensure staff and providers fulfill annual educational requirements as mandated by the Compliance department.
- Oversee timely payroll and human resources functions.
- Participate in management meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Healthcare Management.
- Thorough understanding of medical office operations to effectively support physicians and administrative staff.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong organizational skills to integrate objectives and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
