We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Excellence to lead our nursing team in achieving excellence in patient care and Magnet designation. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to our nursing staff, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and Magnet recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for the Magnet Recognition Program, ensuring compliance with Magnet standards and excellence in nursing practice.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote nursing excellence, evidence-based practice, and research.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement mechanisms to foster the professional development of all nursing associates.
- Lead the development and implementation of the site's nursing research program, the dissemination of research findings, and scholarly activities.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment and loyalty.
- Manage resources, including direct reports and budgets, to provide efficient, cost-effective, and outcomes-oriented staff education, clinical support, and training.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in nursing
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- 5+ Years Clinical experience
- Current RN license in the State of Illinois

- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
