Executive Chef Assistant with Menu Planning and Team Leadership Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Bon Appétit Management Company. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will play a vital role in the overall success of our food program, overseeing culinary functions and assisting with menu planning.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to customers.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create menus that meet client requirements and company standards.
- Develop and implement new culinary programs, working closely with the marketing and culinary team to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Manage cost controls and expenditure, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- 5 years of related culinary experience, including 1 year at the management level, preferably in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food trends, quality control, sanitation, safety protocols, and presentation techniques.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills to effectively motivate and direct a team of back-of-house associates.
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred, as well as computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel.
