Administrative Support Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Technical Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:


• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files


• Coordinate and schedule employee in- and out-processing


• Assist in managing DOD, DSS, and local office policies and programs


• Provide administrative support to the field office chief


• Draft and route correspondence


• Plan and coordinate travel arrangements using the Defense Travel System (DTS)


• Coordinate conference room usage


• Maintain office equipment and supply inventory


• Manage government timecard program (DAI) and ensure accurate timekeeping


• Receive and route office mail and correspondence


• Manage task management (CATMS) system and ensure tasks are completed on time


• Assist in executing office training program


• Responsible for inputting and managing data bases as directed

Requirements:


• Active Top-Secret clearance required


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 2 years of administrative experience


• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a good command of the English language

Preferred:


• Intermediate to high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook


• Familiarity with the Defense Travel System and timekeeping management programs a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

$21.64-$24.04 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
