About the Job

This is a supervisory position in the Enrollment Case Management team at the Veterans Health Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of contact representatives and ensuring the efficient processing of enrollment applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of contact representatives
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of enrollment applications
  • Conduct special studies, analyses, and audits to identify methods of increasing efficiency
  • Evaluate staffing and equipment requirements and make recommendations
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve program efficiency
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-08
  • Experience in determining educational and training needs for subordinates
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and assigning work to be accomplished by subordinates
  • Experience in conducting audits and making recommendations
  • Experience in evaluating staffing and equipment requirements
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is 6:30am-7:30pm CST, with most new employees working evening hours. The position may be authorized for telework.
