POSITION SUMMARY:

Clear Path Pediatric Therapy LLC is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for children to thrive. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech therapy services within a school-based setting.

As a small, clinician-owned practice, we deliver a range of therapeutic services to various educational institutions, including public and private schools.


The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate with fellow professionals, ensuring manageable caseloads and a balanced workload. This role offers ample time for indirect therapy, planning, and documentation, enhancing the quality of service provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute effective speech and language therapy programs and evaluations for assigned students.
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to enhance communication skills, including expressive and receptive language, social skills, and articulation.
  • Participate actively in IEP planning meetings to offer valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain precise and current documentation of student progress.
  • Assess student progress and provide recommendations for extended school year services.
  • Implement appropriate behavior management strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest best practices in speech and language development.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will have the autonomy to set their schedule and determine group sizes. All necessary materials and assessments will be provided or reimbursed, with mentorship available as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education/Certifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (Clinical Fellows are welcome; mentorship provided).
Valid licensure in Speech Language Pathology from the relevant state department of education.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to pass required background checks.
All of the above educational and certification requirements.
