Speech Language Pathologist - Special Education Expert

Job Summary:

  • As a Speech Language Pathologist with Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, you will provide evaluative, diagnostic, ongoing assessment, and therapeutic speech-language services for designated school-aged students in schools/educational settings.
  • You will travel to assigned schools/educational settings to deliver services, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to address them, and develop and implement treatment plans to improve students' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language services to students with a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet students' communication needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to integrate speech-language services into the educational setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication development.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to address them, and develop and implement treatment plans to improve students' communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience working with students with communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
