**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Program Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Rochester. As a Fitness Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for teaching safe and effective group exercise classes that promote total fitness development for our members.

**Responsibilities**

* Teach group exercise classes that meet the needs of diverse populations, including adults and youth
* Develop and implement new exercise programs and classes
* Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director to ensure alignment with the YMCA's mission and goals
* Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive member experience
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in exercise science or related field preferred
* Current CPR/AED certification and Standard First Aid
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
