Key ResponsibilitiesAs a MicroStation CADD Technician, your main duties will include:
- Generating existing conditions surveys from internally produced survey data.
- Facilitating data conversion between AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Conducting thorough records research at municipal, county, and state levels.
- Preparing right-of-way maps in accordance with MaineDOT specifications.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following competencies:
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation InRoads and/or Open Roads Designer (ORD).
- Familiarity with MaineDOT CADD standards is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD; knowledge of Carlson Survey is a plus.
- Ability to interpret field notes and survey data effectively.
- Experience in creating digital terrain models (DTM).
- Capability to perform public records research and interpret/plot plans and deeds.
Applicants should have a minimum of three to five (3-5) years of drafting/design experience in the survey or civil engineering sector.
