ABOUT DPH CATH LAB
  • The Dr. P. Phillips Cardiac Cath Lab features four specialized suites for various procedures.
  • Our labs are equipped for Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, and other critical interventions.
  • We maintain a dedicated pre/post procedural area for patient monitoring and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to facilitate cardiovascular interventions.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective departmental management.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions and document clinical histories accurately.
  • Position patients and utilize equipment to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Monitor physiological parameters during procedures and assist physicians as needed.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to established standards for patient care and documentation.
Qualifications
Education/Training
A graduate of an accredited program in:
  • Cardiovascular Technology or
  • Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Must possess valid certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related fields.
