Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cloud and network infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical foundation in cloud platforms, network administration, and a working knowledge of modular cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems using OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and build robust network infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high reliability and security.
  • Optimize network configurations for performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Oracle ERP teams to ensure smooth system operations and data flow.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle ERP-related issues.
  • Implement security measures to protect cloud and network infrastructures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Develop automation scripts using tools to streamline operations.
  • Automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud and network resources.
  • Work closely with IT, development teams, and other stakeholders to align strategies with business goals.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and end-users.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the Services, Networks, and Security Teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years in cloud architecture and design with a strong background in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Proficient in cloud services and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune configuration and management.
  • In-depth understanding of network infrastructure and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
