Job Title: Forecasting and Analytics Manager

Reports to: Director, Forecasting and Analytics

Overview:

The Forecasting and Analytics Manager plays a critical role in developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for select accounts, with a focus on maximizing sales and optimizing inventory levels. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate monthly demand forecasts at the category, collection, and SKU level, incorporating core and seasonal products, as well as one-time sales and marketing programs.
  • Ensure forecast assumption accuracy through analysis of base business trends, promotional activity, new launch volume, VM and retrofit updates, channel expansion, and seasonal volume.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and DTC teams to gather inputs and align on retail sales and sell-in plans.
  • Work closely with Ops/Supply Planning to ensure an executable supply plan is developed to meet forecast requirements.
  • Partner with retailer partners to align on demand trends, inventory levels, and open-to-buy plans.
  • Measure forecast accuracy to maximize sales while optimizing inventory levels across retailers.
  • Own new launch forecast for respective accounts to support all marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Analyze historical sales data and future programming to achieve continuous improvement in demand plan accuracy.
  • Update and circulate weekly and monthly business performance reports to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in annual budget and reforecast process.
  • Maintain retail sales data integrity through third-party platform.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of forecasting/demand planning experience in Beauty or CPG, preferred.
  • BA/BS or 5 years of equivalent relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret meaningful trends from data.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Flexible, team player.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA.
