Key Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a member of the End User Services (EUS) Technical Support team, you will be tasked with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop, notebook, and mobile PC workstations, printers, and related peripherals, both on-site and remotely. Your role will involve responding to incidents and fulfilling requests while understanding the business impact of hardware and system issues to effectively prioritize incident severity. You will troubleshoot a diverse range of technical challenges and collaborate with other IT departments to resolve issues. A solid understanding of the technical infrastructure and how it aligns with enterprise standards is essential. You will also monitor desktop hardware performance and maintain a secure operating environment. Professionals in this role are expected to be familiar with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure service success and continuously seek to enhance operational efficiencies and add value to the user community.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide expert support for desktop hardware and lead complex, enterprise-wide projects or programs, guiding the team to resolve intricate issues.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and system challenges.
  • Engage in multiple projects, acting as a team member or leader, and serve as a subject matter expert across various domains.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT departments to support, maintain, and deploy desktop hardware and information support processes.
  • Oversee the EUS team to meet customer and production support requirements, diagnosing and resolving complex issues while mentoring team members.
  • Address high-complexity customer requests, providing exceptional service to facility administration and VIPs, while generating activity and status reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of information in the device asset management system and oversee team contributions to knowledge management.
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting, purchasing, and deploying new devices, upgrades, and installations, coordinating with leadership on readiness and delivery.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of desktop services, applying advanced principles to deliver exceptional End User support and mentor team members.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate, or 4-6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the service industry is essential.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.
  • Advanced customer service skills are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, network printing systems, and Microsoft Office applications is required.

Compensation

$42.08 per hour
