The Automotive Service Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Customer Service and Service Writer teams, ensuring they effectively interpret and address customer needs for our skilled mechanics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening and consulting with customers.
  • Follow up with customers regarding requested services and estimated completion times.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and make detailed recommendations, including creating computerized repair orders and sourcing necessary parts.
  • Discuss pricing estimates with customers while promoting available service specials.
  • Oversee all sales, accounting, and clerical tasks in collaboration with the Shop Manager and Service Advisors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, assist in ordering parts and supplies, and ensure proper organization.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the service facility.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a store or service management role.
  • Solid general automotive knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in POS systems and internet usage.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
