Key Responsibilities:


The Senior Client Relationship Manager & Business Insurance Consultant oversees a portfolio of assigned Commercial Lines accounts, while also marketing to new and existing clients to secure competitive coverage and premiums.

This role entails delivering exceptional service to commercial clients and ensuring high customer retention rates. The Client Advisor is responsible for thorough coverage evaluations and providing consultation and recommendations to clients.

Foster enduring relationships with clients, play a pivotal role in introducing innovative insurance products, and ensure the ongoing relevance of existing insurance programs.

Essential Duties:
Establish and nurture positive working relationships with clients.
Promote and introduce new products through effective communication with clients.
Enhance the profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to utilize additional value-added services.
Advise on the most suitable coverage for specific needs.
Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues and carrier representatives to stay informed about new and existing products and online quoting platforms.
Prepare comprehensive and accurate submissions to insurance carriers, including narrative and loss analysis.
Follow up with insurance carriers to ensure they have sufficient information for timely quotes.
Work with producers to gather additional information from clients needed for insurance carriers to provide quotes.
Verify quotes against the Agency Management System for coverage accuracy.
Review, update, and input quoted data into company proposals.
Bind coverage and update the Agency Management System to reflect issuance instructions.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to discuss strategy execution.
Participate in meetings with carriers to gain market insights.
Ensure compliance with Community Bank System procedures by staying updated on all changes.
Negotiate with underwriters to modify policies as necessary to meet client needs.

Possess a working knowledge of Agency Management Systems (Applied Epic), Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.

Demonstrate technical proficiency with various insurance coverages and policies as appropriate.
Engage in seminars and training for skill enhancement and knowledge development.
Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma

Certifications:
Property/Casualty License Required
Maintain Agent/Broker License through ongoing education
Achieve or maintain CISR Designation

Experience/Skills:

5 years of Insurance Experience Required
Familiarity with Agency Management Systems
Experience with the Applied Epic system is advantageous but not mandatory
Proficient in using menu-driven software alongside Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Knowledge of Acord forms
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in relationship management and meeting new clients
Exhibit trustworthiness, integrity, sincerity, and discretion
Strong customer service orientation
Results-driven approach to fulfilling core responsibilities and meeting deadlines
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
Ability to develop and present innovative ideas
Exceptional time management skills
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean motor vehicle record

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience, plus potential for annual merit increases.
