Essential Duties:

  • Enhance customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Possess experience in plumbing or HVAC systems.
  • Document technical specifications and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Manage field personnel in alignment with project demands.
  • Understand contractual obligations and prepare estimates, change orders, and proposals.
  • Mentor and develop technicians in a supportive environment.
  • Conduct site inspections and liaise with inspectors.
  • Lead and manage teams in a collaborative setting.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to build trust.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to protect the company.
  • Document project progress, changes, and delays accurately.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including billing and subcontractor management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a self-performing mechanical contractor.
  • Proven background in mechanical process piping and advanced plumbing systems.
  • Experience managing projects exceeding $2 million in value.
  • Proficient in management controls such as scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with mechanical and plumbing installations.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience managing teams of 10 to 15 individuals across multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of building plans and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, project managers, and general contractors.
  • Pipefitting experience is advantageous.
