Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead industrial refrigeration projects in the Indianapolis area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction, increased productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of change orders, subcontractor communications, RFIs, and contingency plans
  • Collaborate with operations managers to optimize labor planning and resource allocation
  • Develop and manage mechanical schedules and material loading charts
  • Prepare and submit accurate estimates and change order quotations
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing and fabrication teams to ensure timely scheduling and pricing
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and meet their needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of refrigeration systems
  • Experience with construction scheduling tools and software
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings for material ordering and estimating
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
