Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Contracting Specialist to join our team at QinetiQ US. As an integral member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the acquisition of highly classified ACAT-like space control systems.

About the Role:
This role involves providing contract and subcontract management support to Government Contracting Officers and contract specialists in executing various contracting actions. You will be responsible for advising on requests for proposals, technical evaluations, contract negotiation, contract administration, and contract execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with source selection activities, including developing source selection documentation and reviewing proposal evaluations.
  • Provide contract and subcontract management support to assist Government Contracting Officers in executing various contracting actions.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI Eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with the acquisition of highly classified ACAT-like space systems and/or components.
  • Masters Degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
