Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe System Programmer to join our Mainframe Automation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to accelerate the development of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions for various platforms, including Envision X, AIR, and Sidekick.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automation code using Python, C++, REXX, Cobol, and Assembler.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with Agile project management tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Mainframe Operating Systems and their sub-components, including z/OS and MVS.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Mainframe automation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and ITIL framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
