Join the Healthy Community Initiative as a Data Fellow Intern and contribute to the development of out-of-school time programs in Northfield Community School.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead the Community Needs Assessment work. The successful candidate will evaluate out-of-school time opportunities as an intervention to address the needs for school day engagement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and benchmark current programming in the Northfield and surrounding communities
  • Conduct focus groups to understand the needs of parents, youth, school day staff and administration, and community partners
  • Research best practices for evaluation and apply those to findings
  • Develop a comprehensive implementation plan for out-of-school time programming in Northfield Community School
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Program coordination skills, including data tracking, time management, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in youth work
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Working Arrangements:

This is a temporary, 6-month fellowship, working 20 hours per week, including afternoons, occasional nights, and weekends. The office is located at Greenvale Park Community School.
