Job Summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing key tax calculations necessary for the company's global tax provision and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and ensure completeness and accuracy of tax accounts of all legal entities, including the review of domestic and international Partnership, and C corporation, tax provisions prepared in OneSource Tax Provision software.
  • Assemble, analyze and organize data to provide to external advisors/auditors for quarterly reporting, including various federal, international, and state related data.
  • Proactively work with corporate accounting group and local controllers to obtain data required for the tax provision.
  • Assist with a diverse range of tax planning, structuring, compliance, research, and audit activities, including analyzing the impact of new tax laws and proposed legislation.
  • Interface closely with senior corporate and business unit leaders to develop and implement strategies which minimize tax liability of the Company.
  • Perform research and analysis related to tax reporting implications of new business initiatives as well as lead or support projects to improve tax processes and enhance efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Ownership of assigned projects/tasks, including communication of project status with appropriate documentation and regular followup until projects are complete.
  • Assist in the development and growth of Tax Analysts and collaborate with broader tax team.
