As the *entry-level
  • Records Management Specialist at ExamWorks Group, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting our File Coordinators and Planners by processing correspondence and medical documentation, organizing files, and performing data entry tasks. This position demands excellent computer proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
This is a *Remote* full-time role with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, along with comprehensive benefits.

Compensation ranges from $14 to $15 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve records from internal databases and client websites.

Systematically prepare files for sorting, uploading, and/or scanning as required.

Assist Planners by sending records and aiding in the organization of medical documentation.

Maintain an orderly file cabinet.

Implement watermark updates and other modifications as necessary.

Conduct research for relevant information.

Collaborate closely with Planners and File Coordinators to assist in the sorting of medical records.

Ensure accurate file uploads to HCCA.

Keep detailed notes in the Galileo system.

Engage in communication and coordination with company management.

Adhere to all company policies, including safety, confidentiality, and organizational directives.

Perform various clerical tasks such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as needed.

Promote effective and efficient use of departmental resources and supplies.

Maintain the confidentiality of medical information at all times in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Support management with various departmental projects.

Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles.

Proficient in multiple software applications, including but not limited to

Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.

Exhibit exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information

clearly, listening attentively, and asking questions for clarification when needed.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Capability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events appropriately.

Experience with Medicare is a plus.
