About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Correctional Officer to join our team at Team Georgia Careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort juveniles during transit to and from facilities, as well as during temporary leaves.
  • Oversee juveniles during work assignments, meals, and recreation periods.
  • Guard facility entrances for the screening of visitors.
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of juveniles and staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a correctional setting preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
