Provides support to colleagues and actively seeks to mediate conflicts when they arise.

The A&P Inspector champions and endorses company policies, which encompass product safety concerns, safe operational practices, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Reports any potentially hazardous conditions to the Crew Chief or a Senior Inspector as necessary.

• Conducts inspections on various aircraft types (including engines, electrical systems, structures, controls, environmental systems, landing gear, and accessories) before, during, and after maintenance to ensure adherence to FAA regulations, production approval holder specifications, military standards, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.

• Assesses the serviceability of aircraft systems, components, and parts utilizing precision measuring tools, gauges, instruments, and non-destructive testing methods (if certified).

• Performs preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on all items repaired, maintained, inspected, or modified by the facility.

• Adheres to all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and Local Work Instructions.

• Provides procedural guidance to technicians and delegated inspectors, offering training and assistance in proper work methods and practices.

• Oversees ongoing work to ensure compliance with documentation, procedures, techniques, and methods as specified in maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents, and other FAA-approved data.

• Records inspection outcomes in inspection documentation and logbooks. Conducts a final review of work order documentation prior to the release of articles. Ensures that all work performed is accurately documented on the work order.

• Investigates logbooks and prepares logbook entries and sign-offs for Return to Service (RTS) approval for any articles maintained or modified by the facility, certifying airworthiness as applicable. Approves aircraft for return to service upon completion of maintenance or alterations, and reports any conditions that may adversely affect the airworthiness of an article under repair or modification to the Quality Leader.

• Remains current on the scope of required maintenance and inspections for clients, coordinating efforts to ensure timely turnaround.

• Complies with all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping policies.

Position Requirements:


• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic is required, with experience in corporate aviation.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

• Must possess clear thinking and effective communication skills, both over the phone and in person.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination is essential.

• Must have 20/20 vision (corrected if necessary).

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary for interaction with customers and colleagues.

• Must be authorized to work in the country.
