Care Coordinator

This Care Coordinator position is located at 4019 Manchaca Road within the Alameda House recovery-based program. The primary purpose of the position is to provide support and guidance to up to 15 adult clients housed at this facility.
The Care Coordinator will observe and supervise residents to maintain appropriate structure and safety, while also performing rehabilitative client-care work, assisting adults with mental health diagnosis with their daily care routines.
Responsibilities include monitoring clients to include self-administration of medications, enforcing facility rules, managing client behaviors, de-escalating clients who are upset, intervening in crisis, and engaging clients in social and developmental activities.
Work is performed under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Must be able to work independently, under the direction of the manager, within a team dynamic.Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred:
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Food Handler/Manager Certified Experience:
Required:
1 year with mental health residential adult client care experience
Hours:
Part-Time.
Workhours: 11:00PM - 7:00AM.
Workdays:
Saturday and Sunday.
Salary:
$20.03 an hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
