Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Engineering representative, communicating directly with Project Managers and Material Managers.Develop the Skeleton Structure in Teamcenter, ensuring a 2-3 day lead time post Order Acknowledgement, and share the Excel version with the Material Manager and Project Manager.Participate in Sales Kick-Off Meetings alongside the Project Manager, Sales, Material Manager, and Offer Engineer.Review project Technical Specifications, Sales Proposals, and Estimates, clarifying requirements with the Project Manager as necessary.Create Crane General Arrangement Drawings.Perform Crane Steel Structure Calculations utilizing KC Gantry and relevant calculation tools.Generate Subcontracted Engineering Work Orders.Lead Engineering Kick-Off Meetings with the Design Team, outlining the scope and interpreting project specifications.Manage Engineering project hours and schedule them in the Engineering Resource Management System (ERMS).Maintain Project Engineering Schedules within ERMS.Define all Third Party Electro-Mechanical Component Requirements, Specifications, and liaise with External Vendors as required.Approve all drawings and crane design Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOMs) in Teamcenter.Organize Electrical Coordination Meetings, including Phase I, Phase II, and necessary follow-ups to resolve outstanding issues.Oversee Change Management, coordinating all changes effectively.Establish Design Standards.Uphold Engineering and Design Best Practices.Provide Transportation or Erection Drawings as required.Monitor design engineering Quality issues and offer feedback for improvement to the Quality Department.Ensure all final documents and calculations are submitted to the Project Manager, with final copies archived in Teamcenter.Stay updated on Standards and Norms, particularly CMAA, AWS, OSHA, ASCE.Provide Warranty Support.*KCNKonecranes, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept resumes from external recruiters or agencies without a Service Agreement and Agency Portal submission.
