About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Atkore. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department, including Maintenance Supervisors, Mechanics, and Electricians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plant preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Manage department labor, repairs, and maintenance budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Provide direct reports with regular engagement and alignment reviews, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Manage annual reviews, outside vendor contracts, and coordinate equipment installations and capital projects.
  • Develop and implement cost savings initiatives using lean methodologies.
  • Develop and schedule maintenance training for all production equipment and process equipment.
  • Coordinate with and implement maintenance programs with various departments within the facility.
  • Participate in inter-department lean methodology initiatives.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • BA/BS in Business Management or Engineering (BSEE, BSME, BSCE) preferred.
  • Experience in developing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS systems, including MS Teams.
