Software Engineer II - Air Traffic Solutions

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our Air Traffic Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and test innovative software updates for our cutting-edge Air Traffic Control (ATC) Product Line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software updates for our ATC Product Line
  • Collaborate with our software team to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle with C/C++ programming and structured programming in a Unix/Linux-based development environment
  • Familiarity with object-oriented technology and programming languages, preferably Java
  • Knowledge of Unix, Red Hat Linux, Python, SQL, Matlab, and bash/ksh scripting
