Job Summary:

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist II to provide clinical services to adults and pediatric patients at various levels of care. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides diagnostic assessments of communication disorders, including speech, language, fluency, voice, cognition/memory, and swallowing.

Develops treatment plans and intervention strategies based on evaluation results.

Provides therapy services for remediation of communication disorders and/or dysphagia.

Educates patients and families regarding communication disorders and/or dysphagia.

Recommends and follows through with discharge planning regarding communication disorders and/or dysphagia.

Performs operational duties, including patient scheduling, completion of patient notes and reports, maintenance of patient files, completion of patient charges, and recording of hours worked and mileage records.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.

State of Iowa Speech licensure and meet required standards of professional education.
