Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to adults and pediatric patients with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of communication disorders, including disorders of speech, language, fluency, voice, cognition/memory, and swallowing.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies for patients with communication disorders.
  • Provide therapy services for remediation of communication disorders and/or dysphagia.
  • Ensure patient and/or family education regarding communication disorders, and/or dysphagia.
  • Recommend and follow through with appropriate discharge planning regarding communication disorders and/or dysphagia.
  • Perform operational duties, including patient scheduling, completion of patient notes and reports, maintenance of complete patient files, completion of patient charges, recording of hours worked and mileage records.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State of Iowa Speech licensure and meet required standards of professional education.
