About the Role:

This Collections Supervisor position is a key role within our Credit Department, responsible for managing a small accounts receivable portfolio and providing support to our Collectors in their daily functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in high-volume collections environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to the Collectors in their daily functions, including reviewing progress on accounts with past due balances and ongoing training.
  • Partner with the Collectors to ensure effective management of credit risk on over-limit exposure.
  • Maintain positive relationships with high-volume and sensitive customers by partnering with the sales team and managing overall risk.
  • Ensure accounts with past due balances are addressed accordingly.
  • Assist in the resolution of escalated collections issues.
  • Support branch locations with resolving daily issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years of leadership/management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume collections environments.
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions and meet deadlines.
