Position Overview:
GST is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Space Traffic Coordination Program Analyst. This position is designed to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office of Space Commerce (OSC) in managing the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS) program.


Location:
This role is based in the Washington, DC area, with a temporary hybrid work model that allows for a combination of onsite and remote work.


Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and enhancing SmartSheet applications for program tracking.
  • Defining, monitoring, and managing project timelines, risk factors, and ongoing program tasks.
  • Leading the configuration control of program documentation.
  • Collaborating with the graphics team to ensure that presentation materials are accurate, adaptable, and current.
  • Tracking project deliverables and developing a comprehensive filing and documentation system for the TraCSS program.
  • Coordinating logistics and managing the scheduling and execution of monthly TraCSS webinars.
  • Collecting and analyzing feedback from webinar participants.
  • Updating and managing the TraCSS engagement calendar.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in project analysis and/or management.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, TraCSS (formerly Open Architecture Data Repository OADR), and configuration management practices.
  • Previous experience with NOAA, NASA, or the Department of Commerce is advantageous.
  • A current or prior security clearance is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
