Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team in Essex Junction, VT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Repair and replace parts as needed
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
Requirements
  • 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
