Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Representation: Act as a brand representative, reflecting the company values and partnering with the Display Artist and Department Managers to create an engaging visual experience that appeals to our customers.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer experiences that are engaging and personalized, yet efficient.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Support the recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and training of department and display candidates to drive bench and succession planning. Maintain responsibility and ownership of your own development and professional growth.
  • Visual and Business Operations: Manage the visual direction of display and merchandising process from planning through execution to meet company expectations, budgets, and timeline.
  • Communication and Relationships: Facilitate the sharing of product knowledge, current trends, visual priorities, and brand messaging through daily meetings with the team and customers.
Requirements
  • Passion for UO Brand: Demonstrate a passion for the Urban Outfitters brand and values.
  • Leadership Experience: Possess 3+ years of store visual merchandising and leadership experience.
  • Merchant Skills: Have strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
  • Flexibility: Be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
