Position Overview
The selected candidate will oversee the prompt and effective transportation, delivery, and installation of machinery for various product training sessions and other equipment-dependent events. Responsibilities will also include maintaining and managing all logistics-related equipment (including trucks, trailers, and tools) to ensure readiness and functionality prior to events, as well as supporting product training initiatives as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, transport, and operate equipment, including performing general maintenance tasks.
  • Plan, organize, and dispatch all necessary equipment for product training events.
  • Travel to event locations to unload and set up equipment for training purposes.
  • Support the Product Training team with various training activities, including Boot Camps and Regional Product Meetings.
  • Operate departmental truck and trailer combinations, transporting equipment as required (Commercial Driver's License needed).
  • Enhance product knowledge to improve job performance.
  • Maintain the fleet of consignment equipment, trucks, and trailers.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the shop environment.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operate Bobcat and other competitive machinery as needed for training, demonstrations, and media production.
  • Assist in preparing equipment for national trade shows and sponsored events.
  • Support product presentations during events.
Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in Business, Construction Management, or Diesel Technology is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in PC usage.
  • Background: Experience in agriculture, construction, or mobile equipment is essential.
  • Licensing: A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • CDL: Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 30 business days of hire.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective presentations.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency required.
  • Instructional Ability: Capable of following written guidelines.
  • Mechanical Skills: Troubleshooting skills with gas and diesel equipment are advantageous.
