About the Position

The Internal Transfer and Packaging Associate will be responsible for transporting both packaged and unpackaged marijuana materials between Cultivation, Production, and Distribution facilities.

This role involves assisting with packaging tasks when internal transfers are not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
  • Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery/transfer.
  • Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
  • Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, internal flower transfers, and other items as requested.
Requirements
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to drive safely and follow all road rules in a sprinter van.
  • Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
  • Ability to plan delivery routes strategically and execute on those deliveries.
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records when completing deliveries/transfers.
  • Ability to be state compliant at all times.
  • Ability to document and upload all necessary paperwork after transfers have been completed.
  • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
  • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to assist in Flower Packaging when not performing transfer duties.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly and without injury.
  • Must be able to load and unload packages, coolers, cure tubes, etc from the van. Assistance will often be available but not in all cases.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Cannabis-related education.
  • Understanding of wholesale products, company processes, and industry standards.
  • Understanding of AZDHS cannabis compliance, specifically as it pertains to the transfer and sale of cannabis and cannabis products.
  • Superior verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
