{"Job Title": "Materials Inspector", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Inspector to join our team at Advantage Metals Recycling LLC. As a Materials Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our materials. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect materials for flammable, radioactive, hazardous, and leaded materials, as well as non-acceptable materials such as propane tanks, PCBs, and batteries. You will also be responsible for ensuring that any materials not allowed are not left on Company property and for removing and properly storing any items or material occasionally. Additionally, you will perform general duties involving physical handling of materials, supplies, etc., and may assist other workers as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Inspect materials for flammable, radioactive, hazardous, and leaded materials
* Ensure that any materials not allowed are not left on Company property
* Remove and properly store any items or material occasionally
* Perform general duties involving physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.
* Assist other workers as needed

**Requirements:**

* 5-day work week; Monday-Friday 7:45 to 4:30 with occasional OT. Hours are subject to change
* Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers
* Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
* Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
* Willing to learn operation of small equipment, forklifts, skid steers
* A High School diploma or GED is required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work with others and be part of the team

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* 2 years in an industrial/outdoor work environment
* Working experience around large trucks and heavy equipment
* PC experience and processing monetary transactions
* Current ability to operate forklifts
