Job Summary

Advantage Metals Recycling LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inspector I to join our team. As an Inspector I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our materials and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect materials for flammable, radioactive, hazardous, and/or leaded materials
  • Assist and direct customers to proper locations to unload materials
  • Ensure that any materials not allowed are not left on Company property
  • Remove and properly store any items or materials occasionally
  • Perform general duties involving physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.
  • May assist other workers as needed

Requirements

  • 5-day work week; Monday-Friday 7:45 to 4:30 with occasional OT. Hours are subject to change
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Willing to learn operation of small equipment, forklifts, skid steers
  • A High School diploma or GED is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with others and be part of the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years in an industrial/outdoor work environment
  • Working experience around large trucks and heavy equipment
  • PC experience and processing monetary transactions
  • Current ability to operate forklifts
