Rebar Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Inspector to join our team at Nucor Harris Rebar. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our steel products.

• Inspect materials for compliance with company standards and regulations
• Assist customers with material handling and unloading
• Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards
• Perform general duties involving physical handling of materials and supplies
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and operate small equipment, such as forklifts and skid steers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• 2+ years of experience in an industrial or outdoor work environment
• Working experience around large trucks and heavy equipment
• PC experience and processing monetary transactions
• Current ability to operate forklifts
