Job Summary

Patterson is a leading provider of dental and animal health supplies and equipment. We are seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble anesthesia machines, accessories, and other related equipment.
  • Inspect, clean, repair, and refurbish anesthetic vaporizers.
  • Pick and issue materials to manufacturing shop orders.
  • Perform pressure tests on anesthesia machines.
  • Troubleshoot anesthesia machines that fail the pressure test.
  • Update job sheets and adjust inventory levels.
  • Enter customer information into the computerized serial number database.
  • Pack anesthesia machines and accessories.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and instructions.
  • Ability to use hand tools and cordless drills/screwdrivers.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools such as dial calipers and depth micrometer.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office and business computer systems.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on being dependable, reliable, and punctual.
Working Conditions

The Production Assembly Technician will work in a warehouse environment with moderate to heavy physical activity. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with others, read and interpret various electronic and written documents, and understand and exchange accurate information with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
