Voltage Regulator Assembler I
Shift hours: 3:00pm to 11pm CST

Working Days:
Monday - Friday
OT Requirement: 10 hours a day (2 hours before or after the shift and every other Saturday)


START TIME:
8:00am on the 1st day and then transition to 7am for the remainder of the 1st week. The 2nd week will begin at 3pm.

DRESS CODE:
Jeans or Khakis, T-shirts, Steel-toed shoes

What You'll Do

The Assembler is accountable for the fabrication of various types of Voltage Regulators in a continuous flow setting to fulfill the established customer service expectations.

Your responsibilities will include executing the diverse job functions as outlined in the job description at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality.

Operators are expected to be adaptable and assist fellow team members as necessary to achieve production goals through the continuous flow line.


In this Role You Will

  • Adhere to standard work and 5S practices, conduct a visual inspection of preceding operations, and assemble and test all varieties of tap changers following our standard procedures.
  • Construct the product according to work instructions and quality benchmarks required in the assembly process utilizing calibrated tools (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
  • Fulfill production requirements; collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure timely completion and dispatch of products.
  • Perform ratio testing on units and troubleshoot any identified issues to complete the ratio test.
  • Transport units using overhead cranes and powered industrial vehicles.
  • Repair units and components that have failed tests, are defective, or require modifications.
  • Engage in the disassembly, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality teams.
  • Troubleshoot as necessary throughout the production process.
  • Cross-train in various positions within the Regulators department.
Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the Client States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • All candidates considered must reside within 50 miles of the designated facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grasp, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
