Situated in the heart of downtown Tampa, we offer flexible working hours, event-driven schedules that include evenings and weekends, and a collaborative work atmosphere. Part-time staff enjoy benefits such as employee discounts and a 403(b) retirement plan.

As a Barista, you will be equipped with the skills to craft and sell specialty beverages following company recipes. This position is ideal for those eager to embark on a career in customer service or hospitality. Your work will alternate between our traditional coffee shop and the concessions located within the theater lobby. We provide comprehensive training for all roles and prioritize internal promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Offer recommendations and respond to inquiries about beverage recipes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism.
  • Serve guests promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve coffee beverages in accordance with the Center's standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the designated uniform and nametag.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all areas of your workspace.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to be fully vaccinated by the start date, with a booster when eligible, unless a specific exemption or accommodation has been approved.
  • Must be available to work on-site.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum of 5 hours).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Barista in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not required.
