Position Summary: The Cold Brew Production Technician will oversee the preparation, brewing, and packaging of cold brew coffee. The Cold Brew Production Technician will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that our cold brew offerings align with Buddy Brew's benchmarks for taste, consistency, and freshness.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Cold Brew Preparation:
    • Accurately measure, grind, and prepare coffee beans for cold brew production following specific recipes.
    • Set up and operate brewing machinery to extract cold brew coffee.
    • Supervise the brewing process to guarantee consistency in flavor and quality.
  • Filtration and Bottling:
    • Filter brewed coffee to eliminate grounds and achieve the desired clarity.
    • Assist in the bottling and packaging of cold brew coffee, ensuring all products are labeled and sealed properly.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct taste tests and quality assessments on batches to ensure compliance with flavor profiles and freshness.
    • Document and monitor batch information, including production dates, volumes, and quality notes.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Help maintain inventory of raw materials (coffee beans, filters, bottles) and finished products.
    • Communicate with the production manager to ensure stock levels are sufficient for ongoing production requirements.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance:
    • Clean and sanitize brewing, filtration, and bottling equipment after each production cycle.
