Description

Seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our Emergency Animal Hospital. Are you an animal enthusiast with outstanding customer service abilities? Become the reassuring voice for both pets and their concerned owners during critical times.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the initial contact for pet owners in need of urgent care. Make a significant impact on the lives of pets and their families during their most challenging moments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing empathetic and supportive assistance to anxious pet owners via phone and in-person interactions.
  • Gathering precise information from pet owners to aid our veterinary professionals in delivering timely and effective care.
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensuring accurate patient and client data in our system, including patient check-ins and check-outs, payment processing, and record maintenance.
  • Coordinating the transfer of records with local clinics to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Working closely with our veterinary team to facilitate smooth communication and patient care.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and being sensitive to the emotional needs of pet owners during challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service experience, ideally in a veterinary or healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
