Job Title: Licensed Behavior Specialist BSL

Under the direction of the IBHS Program Director, the Licensed Behavior Specialist provides ongoing clinical assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring of behavior plans. This role serves as a consultant to the family and other members of the treatment team, providing direct consultation to various community settings while maintaining contact with the child and the family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop individualized client treatment plans
  • Provide support to parents, teachers, and community officials
  • Implement rewards and consequences related to appropriate and inappropriate behavior
  • Coordinate clinical information and direction with other professionals and agencies
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established company policies and procedures
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of operationally defined target behaviors using direct and indirect methods
  • Perform Functional Behavior Assessments as needed
  • Remain updated on evidence-based behavioral practices
  • Provide culturally aware and competent service provision
  • Teach skills related to adaptive functioning using least restrictive methods
  • Accept cases and ensure ethical and effective treatment delivery
  • Complete initial training curriculum as per company requirements and guidelines
  • Write and direct the implementation of the behavior modification intervention plan from input received from the treatment team
  • Provide professional consultation to BC and other necessary staff
  • Attend required meetings and scheduled work shifts on time
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct individual, family, and group therapy activities as directed
  • Complete all necessary reports, records, correspondence, or other written materials required by program regulations or the Agency
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other human services-related field
  • Behavioral Specialist Licensure (BSL)
  • At least two (2) years of Behavioral Consultant experience
