Job Summary

The Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation (VCBR) is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Provide training and education to staff on safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Experience in safety management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
