About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Transformation Strategist to join our team at MITRE. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of improving government performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy business processes that drive operational excellence and improve government mission outcomes.
  • Work closely with sponsors to ensure that projects are using tax administration data, methods, and technology effectively.
  • Lead by example by being an expert in one or more areas of technical relevance to the division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that a meaningful, coherent vision is realized across government projects and independent research efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Experience in Tax Administration and government processes.
  • History of successful senior level operational leadership, including strategy development, ethics, governance, automation, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with data architecture and data management concepts and strategies.
  • Ability to tailor communications to provide the appropriate level of detail to the audience.
  • Executive leadership and organizational knowledge.
  • Experience in business transformation and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in a consulting role.
  • Experience working with the Federal government.
  • Experience as a business integration manager.
