Strategic Transformation Business Lead

At Freddie Mac, we are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable business lead to join our Single Family's Strategic Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving large-scale change efforts for the Single-Family Acquisitions (SFA) Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as an internal consultant, leading and facilitating efforts that drive change in areas of our operating model, technical capabilities, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate and partner across multiple stakeholder groups within SFA and across the enterprise to drive operating model improvements and adoption of change efforts.
- Quickly assess, analyze, and evaluate client requirements and business goals to formulate solutions to address complex business needs.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to uncover operational efficiencies, weaknesses, problems, and opportunities.
- Formulate, recommend, and execute strategic transformation strategies, in alignment with change management efforts.
- Present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to peers and internal clients at all levels within the organization.
- Assist with implementation and tracking/monitoring of strategies and engage seamlessly for internal client feedback.
- Develop concise written materials and create complementary graphic designs to effectively communicate complex ideas.
- Develop and model dashboards, reports, and business case details within Excel or analytics equivalent.
- Adapt to shifting engagements and leverage a broad array of skills, including process mapping/modeling, interaction modeling, and product management.
- 7-10 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree in quantitative field a plus
- Consulting experience with the Big 3 firms or equivalent management consulting firm highly desirable
- Industry expertise in Financial Services Sector/Mortgage a plus
- Experience facilitating large working groups (using design thinking techniques, Mural)
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong/Advanced Excel skills
- Proven pattern of success across multidisciplinary business functions, including process analysis, business case development, change management, and product management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to fluidly move across and lead highly varied business engagements.
- Flexibility, able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal in a highly matrixed environment.
- Track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships and working effectively at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to effectively work on simultaneous efforts and balance priorities.
