Job Summary

Birch Tree Communities is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Primary Therapist, you will work closely with a caseload of assigned members, providing assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, referral, discharge planning, and supervision of Qualified Behavioral Health Providers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for assigned members
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as referrals and discharge planning
  • Supervise Qualified Behavioral Health Providers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Current licensure to practice as an MHP in Arkansas (LAC, LMSW, LPE, LPC, LCSW, Psy D, PhD)
  • Knowledge of Recovery, Strengths-Based, and Person-Centered care
  • Basic software skills and typing, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully from a team approach
